Belated posts from a bad blogger

I have been a tad slack in the blogging department this year,i have been pinteresting and reading and crafting and it has taken a back seat,A lot of blogs i love have closed i suppose its times changing etc but i love to blog and every few years i print it so i have some albums of memories.This year i have missed a few important events that need to be blogged and remembered so here they are,

Son number two Timothy turned 30 this year Wasn't he the cutest thing,

Sons number 1 and 3  Matthew and Joel took a motorbike course together and both got bikes sheesh that's 3 of 4 sons on bikes to worry about !

Way back in June god daughter Maddie had an open day at Dance

I love to watch her she is the perfect ballerina

And yes Maddie i love you to the MOON and back even.

Fleeting is Childhoods Dance

She Dances everywhere my God daughter she cannot help it,She lights up life like a little flutterby.
So full of light and life and smiles.She tells me she loves me and asks how much i love her back.I love you as much as all the smarties in the whole wide world I say.She laughs because she knows that's a whole lot of love.

Her Ballet class had an open day and of course i was to be there she had no doubt.After four sons a ballet day is long overdue and to watch her almost made me cry. I bought her the tutu and the shoes, you see it was i who told her that she would take ballet when she was only one and two and three hehe,
What a lovely morning to see the baby ballerinas and to smile and smile.

.Sometimes god is good he was good today !
So sweet so earnest Maddie knows the routines i was so proud.
And as she danced i thought that in one short week she shall be four and as with my sons her childhood is passing so swiftly. I want to cry out STOP just here just now- just for a while be three and free.

Here's to you my little Flutterby may you dance long in this life and stay just as sweet and beautiful as you were today !

Capturing a Fairy Ballerina isnt easy

Well not on film anyway. Of course lured by a lolly or a hug she can usually be held still for a minute at least. but get the camera out and you are left with the corner of a tutu or an empty space where she was flitting about a moment ago. My god daughter needed ballerina shoes and a new tutu as she had been quick to tell me (she and i share a bond about such things) She has started ballet classes and she loves them,So anyway as i am under  her spell i did as ordered .here is the moments i did manage to capture of my little fairy ballerina in her new tutu and shoes.The shoes as i explained to her were made specially by the fairies and left in my fairy teapot for her.The tutu was from far away across the seas (china).
The result was a ballerina with a diva attitude.

See is it just me or is she adorable.
